• Remove manufacturer's packaging and inspect for damage
• Connect battery, remove straps and test start the machine
• Check fluid levels
• Inspect safety switches
• Examine belts and belt guides
• Engage mower deck
• Check tire pressure
• Check to ensure mower deck is level (when applicable)
• Check Reverse Implement Option (RIO) on riding mowers
• Ensure owner's manual is with the machine

Optional attachments purchased through Buy Online are installed by a John Deere professional, examined for proper fit, and tested to ensure proper functionality.
